Ira Goldberg
Ira Goldberg began his law enforcement career with the Broward Sheriff's Office in 1990. Initially assigned as a deputy in the Department of Detention, he later transitioned to the Department of Law Enforcement and was promoted to the rank of Captain. During his tenure, Captain Goldberg established a Special Operations Unit within the Department of Detention, focusing on intelligence gathering and coordination with local and federal agencies.He also spearheaded the creation of a new team dedicated to community relations and engagement, overseeing numerous community events in collaboration with South Florida law enforcement agencies.
In this role, he worked closely with both local and federal partners to develop initiatives aimed at strengthening relationships between the community and law enforcement.After nearly 29 years of distinguished service, Ira Goldberg retired in 2019. Upon retiring Captain Goldberg continued his charitable work with the community: including Turkey Giveaways at Thanksgiving, Toy Giveaways during the Holidays, also giving away over 4,000,000 pounds of food during covid. A cause close to Captain Goldberg's heart; he setup a charity Sharon's Dreams which had an event benefitting homeless veterans; providing them with showers, laundry, haircuts, food and a veterinarian to look at any pets.
Carmen Pino

Mr. Pino founded and led one of the most successful Human Trafficking Task Force inthe United States (South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force), building membership toover 300+ active participants, overseeing domestic & international Human Trafficking investigations and rescuing hundreds of Trafficking Victims.Mr. Pino is a recognized Subject Matter Expert on Human Trafficking and is accredited to provide expert testimony in Federal Court. He has conducted many training sessions on the topic, gave expert consultation on highly complex Human Trafficking matters as well as served as a Subject Matter Expert on many high profile Human Trafficking criminal & civil litigations.Mr. Pino has conducted in excess of 250 media inquiries, interviews, and official statements on behalf of Homeland Security Investigations and the South Florida HumanTrafficking Task Force. Mike Compitiello
Mr. Compitiello is a demonstrated Executive, with 35 years of Federal service with theDepartments of Defense, Justice, and Homeland Security with expertise in leading numerous investigative groups, programs, and initiatives both domestically and internationally. Investigator and supervisor of many complex criminal investigations, global in scope and with National Security implications. Proven leader with 10 years in executive management with strategic planning skills, building fruitful partnerships amongst inter-governmental and non-governmental agencies, leading personnel, and consistently exceeding the Agency’s strategic goals.
During his Federal Law Enforcement tenure, he played a crucial role in enforcing and prosecuting federal immigration laws, human traffickers, apprehending war crimes violators, and fugitives from justice. Mr. Compitiello specialized in investigating and prosecuting a wide range of cases, but was largely considered a subject matter expert in Immigration violations and human trafficking. He led the Human Trafficking TaskForce in Broward County during his tenure.Mr. Compitiello is a recognized Subject Matter Expert on Human Trafficking and is accredited to provide expert testimony in Federal Court.
